Default vtec wiring been searchin around

hey guys, hopefully either this weekend or next I will be dropping in my ls/vtec built for turbo, it will na for a while until i can afford the turbo stuff, my question is when wiring for vtec what needs to be ran to the ecu? Its a ls bottom end obviously with a 95 gsr head but it has a skunk2 intake mani on it, so there is no knock sensor and im already obd1 so would i just need to run the 2 wires on teh vtec solenoid along with the ground wire? meaning i would run the wire for the solenoid and the pressure switch making up the 2 wires and then the third wire coming from the solenoid being the ground? i have done some searching around g2ic and ht and thought i would say something on here as well, im already obd1 and will be running a chipped p28. I found the pic below and i figured i would only be running the red ones since i have done away with all of the gsr stuff on the orginal intake mani and went with the skunk 2 thanks in advance

one wire to the vtec solenoid, one wire to the vtec oil pressure switch, and the other side of the oil pressure switch can go directly to a ground.

cool, i have been reading up alot i just want to make sure i do it right the first time, I did a search on the ecu pin-out and noticed that non-vtec has Pressure regulator cut-off solenoid valve at A10, Vtecs don't have anything, but have the Purge control valve at A20 and non-vtecs don't have anything

Does this need to be addressed at all ? I did a search but couldn't find anything on this topic unfortunately.

what do you mean you have no knock sensor because you are running a skunk 2 mani, you wouldnt have the dual butterfly if you had the mani, the knock is on the block, if you dont have that no vtecccccccccccccc. although you said your running a p28 so no knock sensor anyways. but yeah the guy above my post is right, vtec is the one wire coming off the sylinoid, and the pressure switch is the green for positive i believe. the other is a ground.

btw, in my opinion the skunk 2 mani is a waste of money, you could have just taken the dual butterfly off the gs-r mani and wahlah homemade skunk 2.

sorry i ran that sentence together thats not what i meant, its an ls block so no knock sensor and its a chipped p28 so any knock sensor that would have been in the program was eliminated, my real concern now is what i posted above about the pressure regulator cut off and the purge valve? i believe that stuff is already on my car i just have to run the vaccuum lines, but the pin outs on the ecu were bothering me, i mean lots of people have done it and have had no problems and didnt wire anything except vtec

ignore it, run the vtec wires and call it a day, oh yeah make sure your o2 works/speedo sensor works, i found out the hard way this can affect your vtec.

i got a new o2 sensor anyways and im pretty sure my speed sensor works, it comes off the tranny and is cable driven anyways so that shouldnt be a problem, are you sure its a good idea to ignore it, im pretty sure other people do it as well, just dont want to run into too many problems, im sure the motor swap will have enough of its own
