vtec solenoid y8 head fit on a z6 head

Vtec Solenoid from a y8 ex 98 will fit on a z6 95 head cause i tried one from a z6 head 92 and didnt fit!! why this?

Thanks. I tried and it didnt fit :-[ 95 is bigger than the 98.
