It's not going to plaster you to your seat when VTEC kicks in, especially if it's stock.

"if" you have a cold air intake you can hear it as well as a bigger exhaust.but if its stock you wont feel it pull like its supercharged.

I have a z6 swapped into my CRX, and i have an AEM cold air...i don't hear a difference when mine kicks in. I just tapped into the wire going to the solenoid and put a little light off it to make sure mine works ;D If you have a decently "built" motor (more than just a couple pep boys add on's)then and only then will you really feel a difference.

why don't you disconnect the vtec on your car if nobody cares. See what happens to your 216hp.

That's not what I meant you asshats. What I meant was that I read a new thread almost every day from somebody asking why they can't hear or feel vtec on their sohc engines. You won't feel a kick when vtec engauges on a sohc engine... simple as that. The first thing I did when I got my car (d16z6 sohc engine) was rip throgh 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear because I wanted to see what this vtec was about and I didn't feel ----. It's nothing like a b-series motor.

Hey oscar, just do a run with no intake piping. You should hear it and not necessarily feel it.
