use a early prelude clutch.

the early lude clutches match the 88 Si tranny and have the diameter disc of a 90-91 Si.

im not sure of the EXACT year lude clutch you need.

What flywheel are you using? If the flywheel is an 88-89 then you use an 88-89 clutch and 88-89 flywheel. If the flywheel is a 90+ then you use the Prelude clutch(as mentioned).

im using an 88 clutch/flywheel, so the 88 tranny WILL just bolt up to the d15b block with no modification?

hmmmmm

How do you distiguish 88 from 89-91, I bought a 88 for cheap for a backup but I was never really assured of the year, arent the imput shaft splines a different count or something?

you can use a 90-91 flywheel with a 92+ civic clutch.
