ok so i cant get my external tach to work anymore, and it was before...anyone got any ideas why?

check your source wire on the tac and also your power and ground coulda blew a fuse. it takes 3 things for a tac to work.

1 power
2 ground
3 signal

This might be irrelevant but my g/f's car was throwing a vss sensor malfunction because the headlights were set up wrong draining the battery in the cold wather and causing the fuel pump to cut out. good luck
