Default VSS code....help

hey whats up guys, i recently swapped clusters on my crx, and now am getting a vss code? any help would be cool, thanks alot

Does your spedo work at all, From what ya can tell is it showing a correct speed?

yeah my speedo works perfectly. is there anyway to recet the ecu and clear it?

open the hood...open the fuse box...pull out the HAZARD fuse for a minute, dance around the car, whaterver...then put it back in....congradulations you reset your ECU

dont you need to pull the hazard and reverse lights fuse in order to fully reset it?

nope, i never do that....i just pull the HAZARD fuse or unplug the ECU (depending on what im doing, like if im cheanging chips), and it resets fine....

---- that ----, reseting radio stations, possible sparks, and just more work than pulling the fuse (and the fuse pulling works just the same)...

you may have to pull the cluster again. You might have forgot to hookup the VSS signal.

i recet the ecu, and it worked fine. would the ecu throwing a code cause my external tach to stop working?
