whats all required to change valve guides in b series head? hydrolic press? or not?

brass hammer and a soft drift. and a file if you burr a guide?

Heating the block helps a bit, Just watch the valve seats don't come loose.

heat up the head in the oven gently.

i've also heard using liquid nitrogen to cool the guides ready for insertion. Helps get them in easier.

real real question is, is it recomended or necessary to change the guides when changing valves. I am building a new head for the new build. and I plan to get new supertech valves etc.

if the head is very high mileage i would do it.
