Vacuum

Ok, im having some kinds of issues with vacuum i suppose. I have an d16a6, stock as of now, well i was in the process of installing a y8 IM and accidently broke the PCV valve attached to a6 IMWell it turrns out im not able to run the y8 yet, so bak on the a6 went. Well with the pcv valve fucced, my question is, will that contribute to sort of a vacuum leak or somethin..I have a lot of vacuum..For Ex: As i was removing the oil cap i noticed vacuum was suckin that suker right down. I know to mmuch vacuum is not good, but could the pcv valve fukked could have caused this. Rough idle, lotsa vacuum.

Thanx for any help

I agree, I just bought one for my Ls engine, I think it was like $3.50 or something. And you can use it for the new manny. All it is is a check valve, nothing special.
