urathane pushing problems

about a week ago i put my front LCA's w/ poly bushings in my 91 hatch

ever since then there has been a popping noise coming from where the LCA bolts to the subframe when i turn going under 5mph
i heard about not having the right sleeves in the bushings but i took them off the car and put the bolt thru and it looked to be correct

i put grease all over where the LCA bolts the the subframe and the noise went away, is this normal or are my control arms going to fall off

its supposed to have grease... other wise they will tear.

we're in the middle of doing a master bushing kit in a crx, and we're greasing the crap out of everything. if you didn't grease it enough, it might be binding and snapping around, making that popping sound.

Re: urathane pushing problems

when i put them in the LCA's i covered them on the white grease that came with them
so i need to grease the outside where they bolt up too??
