UN-mini ME low compression
Just to give anyone that's wondering an update. My D16Z6 with a A6 head is still running great. I've been running 13psi daily for about 2 1/2 months now and no problems.
My WRX turbo gets full bost by 3700rpms and hits 1psi at the tap of the pedal... If anyone tries to tell you low compression is a waste of time/power, just smile and think " lets see whos motor last longer " ( not that a $1000 FMS could maintain a hogh compression turbo motor, but without a stand-alone anyway ). |
Re:UN-mini ME low compression

Re:UN-mini ME low compression
I know you were talking about your civic, but your post didn't have anything to reply to, it was kind of a statement more then a question or even a thread start, so I thought I'd respond with SOMETHING so you didn't get dissapointed.

Re:UN-mini ME low compression
O thanx. I need some love. My car finally is complete ( engine wise ) and I just wanted to tell the world how great it works...
I was going to swap a SVO turbo on, but with instant boost and the wrx turbo making power to redline ( or at least not loosing boost ) I'm having a hard time justifing taking it apart. #1 13psi is the limit of my FMS ( AFC hack ) #2 my block prob. won't last too long under the kinda power the SVO could make at 13psi. #3 I'm still broke... |
