ITR rods are glorified GSR units, lovingly bukkake'd at the factory, with a big pricetag slapped on.

For what ITR rods would sell to a Honda-Tech fag, versus how utterly worthless they are in any real application, just sell them. Buy what you really need. Pocket the 1.9 million dollars you've saved.

but you still need to machine the LS rods or the ctr pistons to run them. i agree its the best option though, sell the rods and use the LS crank/rods and shave the small end of the rod to fit the pistons and while your at it have some ARP rod bolts pressed in there too. The LS crank is fine to make power up to 8500. if you want to make power higher than that maybe you might want to look into the GSR crank.

Just get the arp bolts with ls rods. If you still want more insurance then get then shotpeened and polished but by that time your getting close to what a set of eagles would cost. Get gsr lower end internals with the girdle, pump, oilpickup, rods and swap them into your LS block. You'll have to take the a machinist after you install the girdle but it's worth it.
