Turbocharging 98 civc cx htach

I just got a 1998 civc cx htacback and i am ready to make this thing fly. I have a basic understanding of turbo's but don't really know everything i would need to put one on. First off can I turbocharge this car, and how hard would it be? What kind of turbo would I have to get to increase horsepower by at least 100? I have seen the greddy kits, but if I could put together a bomb kit myself for under 1500 I would be very happy. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Dan

do a search and look at the project cars...you have a d16y7 so just look at the cars that have that

If i were you I would get a D16Y8 Head and do a mini ME sawp then Boost it.. This will give you a nice boost over stock HP #'s
