tuner toys rods not fitting pins? anyone else?

I have a set of vitara pistons and tt rods, but the pin doesnt fit the rod at all. not one pin fits one rod. has anyone else had this problem? i ran a search and saw jago had one that needed a slight machining but these just outright dont fit..

i had to hone out the small ends on my scat rods...but the pins at least sorta fit in there beforehand

it appears as though there will be a very thin layer of the brass, if thats even what it is, inside the pin end of the rod, if any is left at all. if it is all removed that seems to me like it wouldnt be good for it seeing as its there to begin with...

Not to sound like a total idiot, but are you sure that you have the correct rods?

They fit fine. I ran TT rods/vitaras on the last car and installed another set in my friends ride. Take your time, use a little oil.

so i measured the diameters with a caliper. the outside diameter of the pin is 21.1 mm the inside diameter of the hole is 18.9 mm. which leaves a difference of 2.2 mm. and is more than the ammount of brass inside the rod. now this leads me to the question, is the pin incorect or is the rod incorrect? anyone have measurements on hand?

if your pins are 21mm, you dont have d series pistons...

b series - 21mm wristpin
d series - 18mm wristpin

unless you by change have GX(i think) slugs
