Tuner Toy rods I beams require notching
 
I just did a test fit and the d16z6 i beams requires notching, just some info since it unknown last time I asked.

I don't know any aftermarket rods for sohc's where you don't have to notch the block. It's a given thing. It's just common sense like pulling out before skeeting. :P

i used crower i-beams without notching in a y7

I used crower I beams on my ZC and I notched it... and I didnt know tunertoys was selling I beam rods? I thought they only sold H-beams like the eagles. I have a set of H-beam tunertoys rods in my zc that also required notching.
