Trany popping out of gear plz help
 

Ok so I did a z6 swap and the fucker told me the engine and trany was mint
Lol the head gasket was leaking but that’s beside the point

So today im driving in the snow at about 20-30 km in second gear and I spin the tires a little release the gas and when the rpm drops the trany pops out of gear I did this 6 times and 4 times it popped out of gear
I didn’t rev high just spun the tires a little for about 1-3 seconds
There is also a jerk in the shifter when I feather the clutch in 1 st gear
And it jerks back and forward when I press the gas and let it go
I checked the motor mounts and they are good I also didn’t have this problem when I had the old engine and trany in with the same mounts and trany linkages

Any one ever experience this or even heard of a Honda trany doing this

worn gear on the main shaft or counter shaft?
if u slam it into 2nd does it stay there? if so it could be a worn linkage in the tranny

Ya it stays in gear I can drive it normally it just seams to force its way out of second gear some times and now this happened
I didn’t have the problem with my old trany but im going to swap out my short sifter and see what happens

What can the gears get worn from ? like dropping clutch shifting hard ? I know the 3rd gear sink row can go all the time but iv never heard of a Honda trany doing this

full the tranny out and take a look inside

countershaft clutch side bearing has walked out.........

EVERY SOHC tranny I do, the bearing gets staked in now.

this is awsome, Im doing tranny rebuilding in school now. I plan on doing some gear swapping now.

mista bone any sugestion o the f22 tranny i know it stonger then the h22 i plan on a lsd anything else like the high speed grind syndrone cure for that

How long can you drive with it out?
How much damage can it do?
Can I just put it back in place or do I need to do a rebuild ?

tap it back into place, stake it, replace 1-2 shifter fork from the excess wear it has seen.

replace the input shaft bearing and seal while the tranny is apart, about $100 in parts, my labor on something like that is $100..... about 4 hours.
