either tell me you have no ------- clue what you just posted or are truely stupid.

So you left the shim, ball bearing, and oil plate out?

I'll assume with that kind of knowledge you don't think an oil pickup is needed on the motor, nor an oil supply line to a turbo.

or your clueless.

Ok, guess I wasn't very clear. I have 2 trannys. For explaning sake, I shall call them A and B.

A has a busted transmission housing. B has a shot ISB and discovered upon opening it, a broken shifter fork. I took both the oil guide plate and main shaft thrust shim out of A and B and compared. To my pos dial caliper, thery were .002" off. I know thats might be a whole 2 oem shims off, but close enough for me. I just want it to work a while. Then I used the oil guide plate, shim, and ball bearing what went with A. I did a few dry runs on making sure that they fit and I could get the 52mm snap ring over the counter shaft ball bearing. I could turn the input shaft freely, and it didn't have any play in or out. Sealed it up, and only the housing from B was used to make my 'good' tranny.

I realise this isn't probably the best solution, but I thought I'd give it a try since I need this car for this weekend.
