So you haven't worked your way up to putting an input shaft in and lifting that yet??

 

first you must balance the shaft...........

without balance there can be no input.

The only problem with being intoxicated is if thigs don't work, or you have the greatest idea ever but don't remember in the morning. Like if you accidently figure out what main shaft and countershaft gears can be mixed together.
