ok my wifes EK needs another tranny and i found a killer deal on a z6 one.. now i know for fact the gearing is the exact same as the y8 trans gearing but thats no tthe problem.. i know the clutch will be fine and the tranny bolts up to the motor ect. but am i going to have mounting issues being that its from an eg and going into the ek chassis or am i making a big deal out of nothing and this can be fixed with a mount combo.. please help i dont want this deal to slip away

 

awesome!! no wmy axels should plug right in as well right.. are all the input shafts the same tranny side on 92-00?? i know the outers will fit but am concerned about the inners

did that trans swap forever ago and we just used all the stock 96-00 stuff on the z6 trans

 

awesome!! yea a buddy of mine just picked up a z6 for a friend of his and the dude he got it from asked if he wanted the tranny to so im getting the z6 trans for a $100 bux..

 

I sold my z6 tranny to a girl that owns a 98 civic, and she is back on the streets, she did the install her self, so you should be fine.

 

one bolt won't line up.........but it doesn't do much anyways

 

on a mount right not on the block??
