Tranny Question
I have a 89 Si with a 5-speed tranny, I also have a Sohc Hydraulic tranny, Can I take everything out of the Hydro and put in my cable housing. I have heard of this before on b-series engines, but I thought I would ask. Thanks

Re:Tranny Question
no no, I meant take maybe the synchros out or the gears themselves, not convert my cable to a hydraulic. The tranny I got has a X4 stamp on it and then on the sticker with the bar code it says S20-lots of numbers.
I just wanna know if I can pull the guts out and put it in the other tranny housing.

Sorry bout that,
Actually you cant swap shafts and syncros from Hydro to cable on B-series trannys. We have taking them apart and checked it out. Its alot differnt.
But as far as D-series trannys, The L3 trannys and the S20's. I have heard rummors that you can, but I am not 100% positive you can.
