TPS SENSOR PROBLEM
My tps sensor isnt reading a 100% on my afc. I changed the tps sensor. Still doesnt work right. I also removed the sensor a checked it with the afc making sure it reads 0.0 and 100% and it does it just when its installed in the t-body it does read right. I kinda held it in place right at 0.0 and opened the throttle all the way and it only reads 89%. Theirs a serious lack of power. Please help

Re: TPS SENSOR PROBLEM
Try adjusting it some by turning it until it fixes the problem. I dont remember the exact volt's needed but people on here do know.

Re: TPS SENSOR PROBLEM
Might be a problem on the TB's connection that it just doesnt open 100% Try adjusting the lil nut and alen key underneath the throttle body. Basically doing trial and error now.

Re: TPS SENSOR PROBLEM
If it were me, I would get a diffrent throttle body since you removed the tps it will be next to impossible to get it right again(speaking from experience). Then check your throttle cable make sure its got enough tension to let the plate open all the way, when using the pedal. Also I think that the afc has a mode where it calibrates it's self to the particular TPS sensor, you may want to look at that after trying the other things. Oh yeah voltage for WOT is 4.5V i think.
