just swap engines when going and swap it back in

 

I didnt have to do that to my motor.
I just took it to a smog shop and they passed it.

if you dont tell them its from japan most of the idiots that work at the smog places wont know the difference. just make sure you have all your smog devices in place. once i pulled up with my civc an they asked me what kinda car is that? they dont know ----. your timing has to be correct, our idle must be correct and have a good catalycticicic converter.

 

Man, If I lived in cali, I would just have a spare stock motor, spare cat, spare exhaust etc etc, and every year each time I had to renew I'd just pop that ****** in, because there is no way in hell I would ever pass.. "Hi, yes I have a twin turbo ls/vtec, with no exhaust.. Can I get some tabs?"

 

great thing about WA...you just walk in and say i have 35bucks give me tabs...
