Timing question 95 civic

Aight so its been a while since i've worked on honda's... I'm into subaru's and porsche now but i bought a 95 civic with a locked up bottom end.. I swapped it all out but think the timings off because i have to rotate the distributor backwards 1/2 inch from the bolt holes and it fires up, i know thats not a good thing but i jus want to make sure it sounds like timing before i rip back into it.

The motor in the car now is:
z6 head
D15B6 bottom end (it was basically free)

This is just gonna be my beater so i can sell the subie n buy the new porsche so if anyone can gimme some input on the timing i'd appreciate it, and if u gotta talk ---- cuz i'm not Honda crazy feel free, i used to do it years ago on this site too lol.

needs a Y7/Y8 cam gear.

BUT!!!!!!!!!!

if you still have the 8v HF pistons, your gonna bend 8 valves.

D15B2 or D15B7 onto your HF rods, better just to get a D15B2/B7 bottom end though.

HF has 40mm rod journals

lol yeah well i pulled it out ripped it apart and the valves look fine but theres coolant/oil mix in the #3 so..... I didnt know the head had problems when i got the car so i'm jus gonna road trip to orlando and pick up a JDM motor. should've done that in the first place but i tried to go cheap ass on it

I know its off topic but heres the one i'm interested in. Its been converted from the 996 to the 2008 997
This one is the twin turbo all wheel drive 6 speed, exactly what i'm wanting. My budget is about 60k for it (almost half is paid for by navy and their wonderful SRB's they give :) )

I think this ones about 7k too much but I'm sure I can find 7k to add to the 60k i'm spending :p

Is that mean a z6 is not advisable to put on a d15b8 block.

I have 2 of these d15b8 engines laying around.
