Timing on 2000 ITR HELP!
Well its been a LONG time since I've posted on here but I just built an engine in a 2000 integra Type R and need to set the timing. Heres the history on the car:
Car was purchased for 2500.00 due to motor leaking coolant. My buddy tore it down. Its a B20 bottom end, and Type R head with AEM tru time cam gears. I joined the project just in time for the fun part of rebuilding the engine which i did today however, it dont have any part of the timing cover. I set #1 TDC before I put the head on too. Also had to install the cams because they were removed, and without that cover, how do you set everything in the correct position? Can anyone post pics of proper positions, or just tell me? Any help tonight is greatly appreciated, i'm supposed to set the timing tomorrow. |

you dont even have the lower timing cover? Id get that in for two reasons: to protect your ----, and so you can time it properly
