Default Timin' check

1996 Honda Civic dx coupe. guys I'm planin' on checkin' the timin' on the car, and I don't have a book for this year yet, but is it the same way like all the old school Honda?? (88-91) Civic/Crx?

ive got a 97 d16y7, take off the upper timing belt cover and there'll be a mark on the cam gear put in strait up and down and look at the mark on the crank pully and compair it to the timing mark on the lower timing belt cover if they line up take off the dist. cap and make shure the rotor is pointing at #1
