so the one on the right came out of my CRX Si tranny and the one on the left came with my ZOOM clutch kit

the clutch kit is the same for basically all the D series hondas

think the throwout is just misboxed or is mine an oddball?

Very simple mistake, they sent you a hydraulic bearing with your kit. the 90 - 91 clutch kit is the exact same thing as 92 - 02 however the 90 - 91 uses the flat lip style t/o bearing. Just ask them to send you the right one, if not shoot me a pm, i have the right one.

 

hmm, the part numbers for the kits are the same, ill call the company tomorrow and let them know

well i called them the other day and they actually seemed to take my suggestion
they will either make 2 different kits or put both bearings in the kit

 

doubt they would put both in thats a horrible way to run a business. Retail on a bearing is 40 bucks

 

the profit margin is quite high on the clutch kits, they can afford it

 

shoulda bought an lsd motorsports clutch nig nog.
