when i try to come off first first gear the car feels like it needs me to add more gas then i need too,its like i need to ride the clutch to get it going,but im really pumping more gasto get it moving this is really annoying and it runs like ----. my boy c-lo told me it might be the throttle cable it might be loose i dunno what to do?

Maybe your clutch is going bad and its slipping. Either that or your not getting a good combustion at low rpm and this can be for several reasons. Give us some more info on the car.

alright he tighten up the throttle cable and its feelin a lil better but still lagging from idle to 2800rpm ---- is pissin me off, oh yea i about the clutch part i bougth a clutch kit for my d15 eg motor and sold the car and was wondering if i can still use the clutch kit for my 1.6 ek if not does anyone need a clutch kitch its from exedy street organic for 90 bucks!

after checking the timing the car feels better thanks ZSIX. another question can i use another sohc intake mani to make more power? the car seems alot slower than my d15 in my eg.
