thermostat problem?

Default thermostat problem?

i just hooked up boost to my civic d series and it has a coolant problem.... its leaking coolant i thoght it was from the main bottom hose of the radiator... but today it started overheating and i pulled over and felt the hoses the top radiator hose had pressure lots of pressure but the bottom didn't? is the thermostat not opening?? what could be the problem

ok you really shouldent even have a boosted car if you dont even know how to diagnose a simple problem like this.... Umm need more information, were you thought it was leaking from, was it actually leaking from there and you fixed it? when you turboed the car did you change anything with the coolant system at all? dissconnect a hose or anything?

Take it to a shop, and never do anything to your car again.

just change the thermostat...if it still does it... then its the water pump...

fyi thermostats dont even cost 4 bucks and 1 buck for the gasket..

you guys talk alot of ---- its a forum bitches your supposed to ask questions if your not totally sure what it is sooo shut the ---- up or ill stab your eyes out with a pencil

its warm but when you squeeze it there is no pressure and the top there is

i changed the thermostat and its still over heating and its pissing me off cuz this cavalier with lots of stickers was driving by me i was tempted but it was over heating agian
