Default testing a relay??

Not sure where my haynes manual is at. But i was just wondering about testing my fuel inj/pump relay. Something is causing my 7.5 fuel in/ecm fuse to blow under the hood. Also it is causing my car to hessitate and almost die or bog while driving. and its not all the time. I wanna test the fuel pump , power going to the fuse box under the hood , fuel relay, and possibly main relay. This problem happend after i swapped the trans out for a z6. car is a y7 with a y8 mani.. boosted. also forgot to take the neg off the battery when removing the starter ( after a long day of work and the heat was getting to me ) lol excuse .. so thats the only thing i could think of that would have caused this problem .. its never done it b4 the trans swap aand i had the old trans out 2 weeks early for a 6puck. the only code i have is for a iacv. which is swapped over , but im pretty sure its bad . ive tried cleaning it and who knows i bought another from ebay. see if that takes care of it .

Things ive tries so far. after throwing a map code when blowing the 7.5 fuse i thought it was the map . well i waited until the car was acting up through in working map and still had the problem.
Also pulled off my grounds and cleaned them. metal surface kinda shitty some places so i picked up a grounding kit for cheap. so ill try it .
Car has new cap , rotor, coil that are like 5 days old too.

just remember when you test a relay to not only engage it but to send power though it, just in case the wiper is fucked up or something.
