temp gauge not working......
 
like i said, the water temp gauge just stopped working in my ef civic dx. its stock everything, and ive owned the car for 3 years and ive never torn into the dash, so i cant figure it out. maybe you guys have had the same problem??

check the sensor to see if the plug fell off.

would that be on the back of the cluster, or what?

and where are the grounds located?

the cts is the one wire sensor located right below the dizzy.
and check the ground on the thermo housing

checked the grounds, cleaned them off, and its still not working....

Do what you were told. You said you checked the grounds but did you check the plug under the dizzy? I dont think so.....Why dont you start by fixing the problem you have now before you swap. Do you think a new motor will magicaly make the temp gauge work. It a wiring issue not a engine issue

well, some people said it could be the plug in the head, so i was wondering if i could use the plug out of the teg im pulling the motor out of. but you're right, it's probably in the wiring, ill check that today, since im a ------ lame-ass and dont work this weekend. but thats besides the point....

check this out, you try to plug the sensor in your head in, if that doesnt do it I will send u a sensor for 10 shiped.
