Default Tein S-Techs and they're ratings, need advice

Ok so a local guy has a set of S-Tech's. Personally I don't think they're gonna be to my liking. My last car had 1.8" drop on it and I didn't think it was enough.

However the 3" slam job my new car has now is overkill to the max.

I was gonna go with some coilovers but hotrex sucks, so its time to find something else.

The S-techs the local guy has are for EF chassis, I have an EG.

Here are the differences

92-95 EG Chassis
2.5 lb/inch spring rate
1.8" front drop
1.7" rear drop

88-91 EF Chassis
2.2 lb/inch spring rate
1.6" front drop
1.5" rear drop

So could I expect more drop from the EF springs in an EG?

Thoughts?

i have S-techs w/ tokico blues on my 91, it shouldnt weight too much more than an EG. maybe 300lbs at the very most.
i have about a 1" gap all around on mine with 195-50-15 tires. the ride is a little soft but still greatly improved the handling.

i dont think you will have any problems unless you like a teeth chattering ride

id prefer the car to be a little more firm on the road, but still have a stock-ish feel on the road.

im still a bit concerned with using the EF springs on the EG, might end up a bit too tall or something

S-tech suck. Go Neuspeed Race yellow springs. (you need good shocks to go with them ie AGX/koni/illum./bilsten and such))

they dropped about a 1/4" -1/3" more than advertised, and being a softer spring they might be even shorter for you in a heavier car

how are you gonna say basics suck!?!?! haha....well i like them and they are about half the price of some JIC's and the Apexi's are way too soft my boy has them on his prelude with neuspeed springs and its way to squishy....i guess you could go with like Tein r types is you really wana be serious but those are almost not drivable on the street.....and anyone who has ridden on them will agree

suspension is going to be, to each his own.
if you can get the teins for cheap gettem, its a quality spring.
if yo udont already have a shock like donald mentioned get some.
if youre running stockies theyre probably blown or are going to be very soon.

as far as coilovers, its all dependant on what you want. id buy tein ra's or ha's.
most people on this board would complain about their harshness.
but im broke and cant afford them ***** so i run hr/illum. combo.
