swap my crx with b16 or b18c?
 

hi! im kinda new here! im planing to swap my crx with a b16 or b18c engine! but i dont actually know exactly what to do? what has to be exhanged? and so on? and whats the most difficult part? i know the whole wiring and motor mounts has to be axchanged! and i know i can buy the mounts from ebay... but what else? anybody plz help me! :D and oh i got a D16z5 engine right now... if that helps

shifter linkage needs shortening/replacement.
axles.
rear tranny mount
cable tranny/hydro tranny with conversion
throttle cable
intake/exhaust manifolds
ecu.

ok! as i thoght then! but i know they sell complete swap kit's on ebay...

exept the motor mounts and the linkage hmmm i think i will go for the integra engine

BTW< a "complete swap on ebay" usally isnt a complete swap. usally.

as mentioned above, you will still need mounts, and shift lnkage. just thought I would spell that out also.

ok yeah i figured that out already :)

ok well if the B16 transmission fits then i know what i will go for! B18c engine!!! ;)

i live on a small island called Åland its between Finland and sweden! and here we kinda have 10crx cars... not more!

and a few civic hatch with d16a9 engines.... so i vould be king here with a B18c engine ;)

iv never seen a volvo like that before :o
have fun with the b18c swap. those engines just scream for boost. if you listen closley when you get the engine, it talks to you. you know what it says. ::boost me, boost me:: you gota do what the engine tells you :P

i hate when they say that "everything you need for a complete swap" it just makes me angry >:(

my boss other car he owns 1 volvo v40 that we have converted with a T4 engine and the other volvo you have seen... and this Toyota supra mk4 that we are bulding single turbo kit on :)
