Swap info Help

Hello:
I just got an 88 hatch, a DX, and want to swap the motor. I bought it for $200, but the stock engine is smoking too much to use. I though about going with a d16a6, or ZC, but how hard would it be to swap in a d16z6. I already have a chipped ECU and the wiring harness, a friend gave it to me, and have an offer for a motor for just $300. Using the new ecu, will I still need to do the dpfi to mpfi swap, injector box, or will the new wiring and ecu fix that problem? I'm leaning more for that motor just because it's newer and will have less miles, or if someone has a d16a6 or ZC for sale in Florida, i'll buy it and pick it up.

you still will need to do the DPFI-MPFI swap, you can just plug in another harness unless its the one from hasport. You will need the resistor box, and a MPFI ECU, PM6/PM7/PG7 whatever.

What motor? A6/ZC whatever you want, damn d-series all feels the same to me anymore ;)

What ECU do you have to use?

the wiring harness, a friend gave it to me,
From what car? The body harnessn (that goes through the firewall) or the engie harness?

I bet you could score a 'after swap' discarded A6 for <$200.
Are you planning to do a HMT setup in the future?
