suspension help...
couln't really pick a forum to place this in, so any mods, feel free to move it.
my rear trailing arm bushings are done. I know that with out the special $150 tool they are a bitch to remove so u have to run all the rubber off. What if i just lower the trailing arm and fill them? would that be any good? what would be the best material to fill them with?

I was thinking about setting mine on fire with a torch then window welding them and bolting them in place but I don't think the same ---- we do to our engine mounts will last down there. Bump for experiences?
those ***** are expensive...$100... auto zone has some sort of poly bushing that u have to use all the original metal parts (i guess its an insert) for $30....any one else have some input?
If you got the money..pay someone to. But its expensive....due to the time and parts being removed. I've torched a couple and hammered them out. You can also use polyurethane for roofs and window weld. They'll all do the same thing. This is hmt....not the pros. They all work.
i was thinking of dropping the arm...stuffing if with window weld....and inserting the poly inserts....letting it cure...and hope they last..
