Superior Radiator
I'm under the impression that the 92-95 civic radiator is the best of the lineup as for as oem equipment. Do I have this correct or is there a better option on other cars that will fit a crx easily? Even if its a different manufacturer, as long as it will fit. I need to start looking for a radiator. Thanks ya'll. ;)

Re:Superior Radiator
I was told that the one out of the 4 door 92-95 civic was bigger than the coupes.I have not confirmed this yet though.Ive seen people use the one frome the CRX in the coupe couse its double the size.
I dought the microchip they call a radiator in the 92-95 is good for annything other than becoming an oil cooler for a big block! |
Re:Superior Radiator
The one from auto model is thicker too....
changed mine and the temp dropped like 3 degree :o :P |

Re:Superior Radiator
In my experience the small thin aluminum radiator from the EG's hatch that are half the size of the CRX radiator do a better job at cooling. Another friend of mine would say the same thing. The old honda radiators kinda suck...they are big heavy and made out of copper. I used an EK and an EG radiator in my crx and both did a better job in cooling....my stock gauge always shower 1/4 or lower.

Re:Superior Radiator
with my new turbo setup I could not fit my radiator and fan, no matter where the turbo was facing, OBX turbo manifold/ super 60, I fabricated a downpipe to get it through with the compressor to the driver side, but now the fan won't fit. I changed my radiator a while back an automatic radiator wich was thicker than the manual. so question is should I go back to me original size, and will a slim line fan be better? what size? is 12" good?
