hey fellas i love the site Alot of info for starters like me i have a question and was wondering if you guys could help me i have a 93 civic ex v tec and i wanted more power out of it i saw all the turbo installs but i was wondering if there is a supercharger that i could get and run on my car would you guys be able to help me out hear thanks

Jackson Racing makes (or made) supercharger kits for sohc vtecs if you really want to spend almost $4k on a kit that makes about 30 hp more than stock. :1 Budget boost build ftw! HF/14b combo @ 10psi will own those supercharger kits for a fraction of the cost. ;)

yeah what they said. superchargers are a waste of money since you can boost you car for a 1/4 of the price and it will be a butt load faster. and remember kids, turbo lag is traction control :y

well I had a jackson racing supercharger kit on my d16z6 crx and it made ALOT more power! It was crazy for a single cam. but I didnt pay no $2400 for it either. I traded a nos kit and 300 bucks. :y but after a couple of days driving it I needed MORE power so now Im going turbo. but I would suggest turbo, superchargers have alot of problems from what I have read about them. they eat bearings and such. read up more about turbocharging your car Im sure you'll be more impressed about turbo the more you read.

turboing a single cam is so easy. im sure you could do it in your sleep. dont supercharge

why would anyone wanna put a supercharger on a 4 cylinder anyway? especially on a single cam 4 cylinder. spend $5000 make a total 0f 135hp at 10 psi, waste of time, space, and money.
get a turbo, or stay na guy.

even if I had a v8 I wouldn't go supercharger.

ok Fellas im sorry for asking about the supercharged topic i have been told alot about both so i wasent sure ill go turbo they call me Eric im from Bowling green ky just moved hear so new and by the way i dont have any porn to give out for the one guy that wants some its my collection only lol does anybody have a turbo for a z6 i cant find anything hear in town its aa small place if you do let me know thanks

as much as you suck at teh intranets and postin pron im still going to help. check ebay for a t3, 14b, 16g. there are tons more, but that should get you started. there is no turbo "for the z6" you just have to find one that will work. hell, check the for sale section here

found that on craigslist. along with a b16. evidently you cant use any parts from a b-series turbo kit on a d-series.....who knew ::)

no honda motor or any motor has a specific turbo, you can use any turbo on any motor using the correct manifold, and supporting parts.

the manifold and the piping and intercoller wear made to bolt right in on a b series engine but i agree with you

I've seen a couple homemade supercharger setups that looked pretty cool actually.
I don't ever find superchargers at the junkyard though.

rudebwoy i know what your talking about im not using that turbo on my d series i have a b series that im using that on i was just trying to se about the supercharger cuz i have one and i have never done a turbo system of the bone yard so i did not want to spend any more money on the car thats all thanks a lot do
