Stupid Question....

Need to know which way to face the piston when im installing them. The intake valves notches on the pistons facing out towards the driver or in towards the front of the car?

Think about it. If you look at your engine in the car which side is the intake on?

thats why i said stupid question....for some reason i thought the intake valve went to the exhaust side of the piston.I dont have my head yet so....wanted to be sure

well, lets break it down for ya since you technically don't have an "intake side" if you don't have a head, intake side = back of block

do you have a trans? because with it you can see which way the wheels would spin in a forward gear. without it you wont know which side the "back" of the block.

haha oil filter = intake side.

oil filter, no dipstick, alt bracket, water pipe, etc., etc.,
