Default storing an engine

when storing a engine for a long amount of time would i drain the oil

depends on for how long, usually i would jsut leave it and drain it just before bringing it out of storeage. Someone is bound to start it up with no oil and that would be bad..

also plug ALL the holes and wrap the engine in shrink wrap.

drain it any good mechanic who installs an engine will chack the oil level when installing it
