how much power can a stock clutch hold?

 

on my old sohc crx, it started to slip with like 6 psi of boost in 2nd and 3rd... that was with a cable clutch too. didnt last long

 

I dont think it will hold more than 150ft lbs of torque, I ran a stock clutch while I was waiting for my act to come in and as soon as the boost came in it was slipping, I could not accelerate hard at all. it was a b16 tranny ls/vtec turbo.

 

my stock d15b7 killed a clutch on 8psi (prob 150whp) stock clutches are ---- ***

 

it also depend if your gonna dump your boost between shifts
