Re: starter not getting fire from stock coilpack
sounds like the battery is dead and youre doing a crappy job of jumping it...to see if the motor is locked up, try turning it over by hand. Try pushing the car and pop-starting it

Re: starter not getting fire from stock coilpack
You should be able to hear the starter solenoid click as it flips over and applies power to the starter itself. You can also jump the starter solenoid directly - make sure the vehicle is not in gear and run power to the blade terminal connector on the solenoid, which is integral to Honduh (and most modern) starters.
If the engine rolls over by hand, that will tell you everything you need to know about the condition of the starter, or the wiring running to it. To celebrate, drink some cough syrup and tell us more about coilpacks. :6 |

Re: starter not getting fire from stock coilpack
if your main relay is clicking you probobly have a loose ground. and when your turning the key and nothing happens then swap out the starter witha new one . and please let us talk to your friend so he can explain why a shot cap and rotor make a starter not run :1 :1 :1 :1 :1 :1
