Star on engine badge?

My buddy has a b18 and its a star stamped on the engine badge.what does this mean?

motor from a yard, each place has their own way of marking blocks/trannys.

I stamp all the trannys I work on.........busted a few ebay scammers.

I'm gonna go with what Chris said. Thats actually a throwing star from the Spoon Ninja Tuning Kr3w. Once built to the right specs the torque is soo strong it'll feel like someone crane kicked you back into your seat. ^-^ Hii-yah
