Sputter and Dies on D16z6
 
The car was running fine. It was running great before. I just warmed the car up and before you know it. It started sputering badly, and then it completely dies off. I dont think its the fuel filter because i just change that like less than 20k ago. whawt could the problem be

Fuel pump maybe, or ignitor. Do some basic troubleshooting and see what you find out.

fuel pump is new walbro, ingiter maybe. what are the troubleshooting tips?

troubleshooting tip #1: go to bank

troubleshooting tip#2: bring car to honda dealer

troubleshooting tip#3: give honda dealer all your money, and if you have 2 dollars left go buy some preparation H, you ass may be sore.

yes he is...

You need to tell us more, is the car boosted? It's either your ignition or fuel system if the engine is healthy so start eliminating problems by verifying known good components.

well its a stock D16z6 with no mods or turbo. dont think theres any fuel problems. How can I test the igniter to see if it is bad or not. Keep in mine that i am going to be working on the car alone and have no other assistance. So no one else can help me start the car when the spark plug test. I heard i can use a multimeter and measure the igniter. But wasnt sure what the instruction were. Help? btw, HMT has more tech than honda-tech hehe
