spark plug wires: do they loose conductivity after a few years?

do spark plug wires loose conductivity or can they be reused over and over if the metal contact parts look good?

Wires don't really wear out. They either are in good shape and work... or they dont.

there's actually a way to test them. check resistance (ohm's)

The carbon resistor cable inside can get high resistance in it and kill your spark quality, check them with a dvom ;)

That is right. As they get older they buil resistence.Resistence lowers the voltage as it goes through them. Therefore you get shitty gas milage.

i checked, resistance should not exceed 25,000 ohms.
