ok so I went to get spark plugs for my sohc zc, non vtec. I thought its us equal was the d16a6. apparantly not?? the d16a6 plugs were slightly longer, by maybe 1/8 or 1/16.

the plugs in my car are ngk r, model zfr5f, part number 5165 from advance. Yet everytime I check this online it says its for a mazda or bmw??

So for thsoe who really know, what friggin plugs should be going in the car? I ordered another set of the zfr5f's but i need to be sure there even correct. Or should I just get those xfr5f-11? or all they all the same?

 

if the ones in your car now are working, why not just buy the same ones?

 

my rule has always been if they screw in and spark i'll try them out. in my old turbo y8 i think i had used anything from saab 9000 plugs to gsr plugs. if the plugs your taking out worked just get the same ones.

thats what goes in the dohc zc.. i dont know wtf was in there before lol, but damn, im changing thems bitches.

 

The D16A6 uses the BCPR6E-11 also.

 

cant remember what i stuck in there now lol but it runs fine either way. theyll only be in there for a month or so before im boosted anyways.
