PISSES ME OFF!!! Earlier tonight I was trying to install an HF exhaust manifold and downpipe on my 91 hatch so I could go smog it, and it was a B*TCH trying to get it in there!!! As a matter of fact I wasn't even able to get it in there! Damn that stupid crossmember, just another thing to add to the list of "things that the crossmember gets in the way of." Geez I was working on it for 2 hours and that dang thing and wasn't even able to get it in there! Shish, honda honda honda, beautiful cars, CRAMPPED engine bay!! AAARGGHHH!!!

Well at the end I just put my Dc's back on, strapped to the block with only 3 nuts, connected the upper and bottom pieces of the header with only one bolt, and it's dangling on my exhaust pipes with only one bolt.

In the end, my conclusion= gay.

that hf ---- is hard to get back in there. its tight with the xmember. your best bet is to have the cat unbolts from the downpipe piece that goes under the pan..

Yeah I actually was trying to unbolt the cat from the downpipe, but I ended up stripping the Bolts on the Cat. Shoot just that took like 45 minutes. I'll probably try to stick it on tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be such a hassle. Shortyz you took three hours, eh... I'm not too far behind! :P

Oh and on top off all this crappyness, my REX got towed away today, stupid registration. Man I hope that stupid tow people don't jack the kit that I had sitting in there. :Banging head:: Stupid stupid stupid. I tell you buncha haters in my neighborhood, called the damn cops on me, this was the second time.
