some ?'s about the ls/vtech swap
 
just bought a b18a1 planin to do the ls/vtech swap in my 97 civic ex but cant find a a gsr head anywhere close by i live in stillwater ok if anyone knows where i can get a good/workin gsr head for cheapon the web or near by stillwater oklahoma (an hour from okc) plz help me out

and the b18a1 motor has 100,000 miles already on it do i need to get the crank micropolished or any thing done to the cylinder walls should i get the block sleaved and the watter jacket has some oxidation how do i remove that do i even need to should i just invest in a new crank rods and pistons i need suggestions im 16 kinda new to the motor thing and im lookin for more than just 20,000 miles out of this engine i dont have the money to do this agian so i cant take any short cuts

buy a vtec oil pump and intsall that.

leave the pistons in the cylinders and all the end caps on. dont touch that ---- unless you know its fucked up

thats what i did with my b16 short block...if ya get it from someone with a good rep, dont worry about it.
