Solid motor mounts

Anyone have experience with solid mounts? I hear it makes shifting, launching, and burning rubber that much more fun.

It also makes your girlfriend get off because everything is vibrating like a mother fucker.

I've drove several SBC and BBC setups with solid mounts. Urathane mounts on hondas are plenty, no need to go solid.

i have them in my car, its really not to bad. it just vibrates ---- in your car and makes everything noisy(but thats mostly when your just starting off from a stop, or when your car is warming up, ill just say anything from 2500 rpm's and lower

i like it though. i feel like i drive a racecar or something like that :D

I hear the feeling is awesome. If I pick up a welder soon I might make a set for track use.

Buddy of mine back in the day had a 86 crx hf w/ a carbed ls motor. Motor mounts were one off solid mounts. Car was wicked feeling lobey cams and welded mounts. Wouldnt drive on it everyday though.

motor mount inserts are plenty vibration for me... unless it's track only, wouldn't recomend solid..
