just seein if anyone has done this and knows what is needed if not I will just have to figure it out. If no one else has done this when I conplete it I will give a compelte write up with pics thanx

Are you going to use a d17 crank? I dont think it would be worth it unless you can get the crank for free even then I wouldnt do it.

I can get most parts free my buddy owns a wreckin yard but I just wanna see if it can be done

search on ht. there is a guy there that runs the d17 bottom end and has done it on other cars.

There are many companies that can do this but the cost is not cheap. Unless you want to spend atleast 750 for the crank work forget it.

i have seen people stroke d16s with a d17 ic can be done what i would do is after you stroke it overbore the mofo and make a d18 ;D that would be the ---- a turbo d18

there was a guy back in the days running 11's with an NA sohc d15. I remember reading that he did all the work himself, and that it was truely a 1.9l stroker.
