soft clutch pedal
i have been noticing that my clutch pedal is getting soft and it is annoying as hell. its not my clutch, theres no slipping and all my gears fee like brand new, i thnik it might be the clutch master cylinder, but im not 100% sure, any advice? oh, ill b getting a new clutch soon anyways so thats not to much of a prob

If you see no fluid coming from the slave into the tranny or in the boot its probably the master. Piston is not sealing.I got a cheap slave here www.rockauto.com The prices are great and it was a borg warner part.

it may sound stupid, but how would i bleed the lines for the clutch? is there some sort of breather that i can open while pumping the pedal to remove air until all the air escapes?

yeah it's on the slave cylinder, just have somebody pump the clutch and hold t down while you crack it open the shut it. repeat until you feel better but make sure the resivoir doesn't run out of fluid while you are bleeding it.

thanx everyone, gonna do this tomight when i get home from school. on last thing. i am also a member of HAN and prostreetonline is offering all of its members 10% act clutchs,etc. thay have pretty good prices, which clutch would you guys recommend?
