What kind of car is it?
I think I read you can somewhere, but I would recomend it. Why do you ask? Trying to lighten up your front end? If so then maybe you should consider a battery relocation to the back.

the brand is Odyssey..they make the dry cell batteries just like the Stinger ones. I would say to check with your local audio shop for them. Odyssey has a VERY small version that has like 600 CCA but very short reserve time. will start a car fine, as long as it starts quickly and you don't have to crank it alot. only weighs like 5-6 pounds if i remember correctly.

ok.. i read this by chance last night, Harley davidson hard tail battery, usually under the seat of a bike, 12lbs, small and enough power to start the car and run accessories. bad news, costs as much as a full size.

Re:smaller battery??

compare it to the specs of the stock battery. you need 12v. and xxx CCA to turn the starter. just double check the specs VS your current oem battery.
