simple but long question ??Need Help
 
feel really stupid on asking this question but if i wire the distributor wrong would i still get sparks? becuz in the past 2 month i have bought three 88-91 si dizzy,spent so much money buying used one. and i know at least one of it has to work,they look so new and the people that i buy it off said it work, now i just think i wire it wrong..i bouth two si dizzy with white plug and one with a yellow pluge and he said its a jdm one. but i still did not get any spark from all three of them..
so basicly can i get any spark if i wire it wrong?
and if anyone can help me out it would be super.
I have post lots of my prob and got some great help and wondering if anyone can help me again.. thanks HMT members

wired wrong either no spark or codes that simple

My guess is you just did a DPFI-MPFI swap or something along those lines? Thats pretty odd to have 3 distributors just have no spark like that. Check your wiring again, the white wires on the distributor (there are 2 of them) swap them around. They look identicle, but one wire is actaully just a touch bigger, and if they are swapped the car wont start (not get any spark)...

That would be my first guess, otherwise explain what you did.

i swap it around lots of time and check the wires lots of time too, but got no result.
